About me

My name is Jack Powis and I'm a 19 year old under 20s GB age group standard distance triathlete based in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

I competed in my first ever age-group world championships in Lausanne in September last year, finishing 1st Brit and 9th overall in my age-group. I am already qualified for the 2021 world championships for 2021 (after this year's event was postponed) and I have ambitions of achieving a podium finish in the 20-24 year old age-group, if not better.

My long-term ambition is to become a professional triathlete in long-distance triathlons and to eventually be competitive at Kona.
